A mature tree adds more value to a property than almost any other landscape element — and it lasts 40+ years if installed right. The difference between a tree that thrives and one that dies is mostly hole prep, root-ball handling, and first-season watering.

We install everything from 1-gallon ornamentals to 4-inch caliper shade trees and full-grown aspen groves (with trucked-in mature stock). Every install includes proper hole prep, gator-bag watering, and stake/guy-wire systems.

TREE INSTALLATION QUESTIONS.

How much for a mature tree install?

Small ornamentals (5-6 ft): $200-$500 installed. Mid-size shade trees (8-12 ft): $500-$1,500. Large mature trees (3-4" caliper): $1,500-$3,000+.

Best trees for Utah?

Native and adapted: maple, oak, ash, aspen, blue spruce, locust. We avoid trees with known Utah pest problems (some elm varieties, etc).

Tree warranty?

1-year replacement warranty on trees we install with proper care guidelines followed.

How long until a tree provides shade?

Fast-growing trees (silver maple, willow): 5-7 years. Standard shade trees: 8-15 years. Slow-growers (oak): 15-25 years. Buy bigger if you want shade soon.

Tree removal too?

Smaller trees yes. Large mature tree removal (anything over 30 feet) we sub to a licensed arborist with proper insurance.

Can I move a tree?

Small ones yes (under 6 feet). Larger trees rarely survive transplant — usually cheaper to install a new one.
